Students should be able to display higher order skills involving broad cognitive, technical, communication and motorcycle management and work without supervision.
License
Graduates in Queensland may use their statement of attainment as part of the process to apply for a motorcycle license instructor license with the respective transport authority. For more information refer to:
Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites
Students must hold TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training or an equivalent qualification.
Student must hold an open motorcycle license for a minimum of 12 months.
Participants are encouraged to use their own PPE this must include eye protection and a suitable helmet meeting the AS/NZS 9698 or ECE 22.05 or ECE 22.06. If a participant does not have PPE the relevant equipment can be arranged through React Plus.
React Plus recommends students provide their own motorcycle.
Students should consider this training program to one (1) week pre-reading and three (3) weeks of study, research, training, and assessment. Students must be prepared to be engaged with React Plus and be willing to contribute their own time, effort and resources and be genuinely committed to working toward a satisfactory outcome.
Class sizes will be limited to six (6) students.
React Plus is not a CRICOS registered provider therefore applicants studying in Australia on a Student Visa are not eligible to enrol in this program.
Students will be enrolled on a fee for service basis.
On successful completion, students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment:

Prior To Enrolment
React Plus acknowledges that applicants will already hold skills, knowledge and experience that are integral to completing this training program within the described time frame. React Plus will confirm applicants are suited to the training program in which they enrol and be given the best opportunity for a positive vocational outcome.
Pre-Enrolment Questionnaire

Confirm the student does not take medication that will impair their judgement.

Language Literacy and Numeracy
React Plus recognises that not all students will have the same level of ability in relation to reading, writing and performing calculations. Potential students who have indicated Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) may be a concern, will be offered a LLN Assessment.
Student Support
React Plus will assist all students in their efforts to complete training programs by all methods available and reasonable. Trainers are responsible for ensuring that all students are aware they can contact their trainer or other React Plus staff members if they are experiencing difficulties with any aspect of their studies. Staff will ensure students have access to the full resources of React Plus to assist them in achieving the required level of competency in all nationally recognised units of competency.
If a student is experiencing personal difficulties, training staff will encourage the student to contact React Plus management, who will provide discreet, personalised, and confidential assistance according to the nature of the difficulties. If issues are impacting the student’s study, course deferral may be discussed.
Where a student’s needs exceed the capacity of the support services React Plus can offer, they will be referred to an appropriate external agency. These needs may be academic needs or personal needs. Extensive information regarding support agencies, resources and services may be sourced online. React Plus staff members will assist students to source appropriate support.
Students who demonstrate slow progress will be supported as required. Students can seek support at any time by discussing their needs with the trainer and assessor or staff at React Plus.

React Plus does not conduct training or assessment in the workplace
Program of Study
The program is delivered over a period of one (1) week of pre-reading (specifically 20 hours) and three (3) weeks of face to face training and assessment

One (1) week prior to the student attending class the student will study the learner resource and prepare to attend class. Students are expected to read and understand the theory delivered in the book and be properly prepared to attend the face-to-face class training and assessment.

Course Fee
TLISS00234 Motorcycle Rider Training Skill Set $2,999
Duration 3 weeks
React Plus has developed a payment schedule that extends across the duration of the training program. A total of two (2) payments will be scheduled across the duration of the training program.
Where the training program is three (3) weeks duration, a payment will be made at the commencement of week 1 and at the commencement of week 2.
The amount of each payment will equally divide the course fee.
For example: $2,999 - $250 = $2,749 Then $2,749 divided into 2 payments = $1,374.50
